SCBWI Alaska will host Editors Day 5
at Musher's Hall
in Fairbanks, Alaska
Editors Day 5 will feature:
Wendy McClure - Senior Editor, Albert Whitman & Company
and
Reka Simonsen - Senior Editor, Henry Holt Books for Young Readers
Registration is required for this event.

SCBWI Members $100 // Nonmembers $150 - Snacks, Beverages & Lunch included.
Individual Manuscript Consultation
SCBWI Members $50 // Nonmembers $125 - Limit of one manuscript per registered attendee
SCBWI membership needs to be current as of August 2008 for the SCBWI Member rate.

Full payment is required at the time of registration.
Only registered guests may attend.
Partial day and Discounted registrations are not available.
ALL fees are non refundable except for event cancellation.
Manuscript Consultation request and payment may be sent under separate cover.
All registrants are eligible to submit an anonymous "FIRST PAGE"
for the First Pages Group Critique Session at no extra charge.
"First Pages Group Critique Session" Submission Guidelines:
There is NO COST for a "First Pages" submission. "First Pages" shall be printed on one side only
of a single sheet of white paper with one inch margins. Text should be double spaced, in black ink
and in a standard 12 point font. No handwritten pages will be accepted. A title is acceptable,
NO IDENTIFYING information (i.e.: name, e-mail, phone, address, URL)may be included.
DO NOT SEND your First Page Submission. Bring your First Page along with you to the event.

An Individual Manuscript Consultation is available only for registered attendees of Editors Day.

Each individual Manuscript Consultation (ONE STORY - 10 page maximum)

NO EXCEPTIONS - It might be prudent to purchase delivery confirmation
and/or Express Mail Services if time is a critical issue.
If your manuscript does not meet the guidelines below it will be recycled.
Guidelines: All manuscripts shall be printed on one side of white paper with one inch margins.
Text should be double spaced, in black ink and in a standard 12 point font. TWO copies of the manuscript
to be reviewed must be submitted. No handwritten manuscripts will be accepted. Please include ONLY your first
and last name as an identifier. Manuscripts must not be bound other than with a paper clip. Pages should be numbered
in sequence. LIMIT manuscripts to the first consecutive 10 Pages of a single work. Do not include a cover letter or resume.
Manuscripts not adhering to these guidelines will not be considered nor will they be altered to make them acceptable.
Consultation Fee must accompany Manuscript. Consultation Fee is non refundable and nontransferable.
