What is a
Coffee Chat?

Members and those interested in the the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators meet to socialize and network with others who write, illustrate, or share a vital interest in children's literature - and to enjoy a bevvy together.
Sometimes-- it is even coffee!

Where?

SCBWI Alaska Coffee Chats
are purely social times held on pre-arranged Saturdays (please check our calendar) from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Although sometimes we do start gabbing and lose track of time.

The Fairbanks Coffee Chats are held at the Alaska Coffee Roasters - please look for the red and purple table sign and Join us!

Other areas within the state are forming! If you know of a great place to meet in your area - please let us know!

Do I need to be a member of the SCBWI to come to a Coffee Chat? - NOPE.

Is there are cost? - Only if you choose to purchase a coffee or something.
